It Was Our Birthday
We recently celebrated our 12th anniversary in August of this year, a significant milestone considering recent challenges like Covid and rising living costs. Despite the fluctuating marketing industry, ProfileTree has thrived, diversifying its services to include videography, website design, content writing, and more.
Director Ciaran Connolly reflected on the company’s growth, adaptation, and success in empowering businesses digitally, emphasising the importance of our client-centric and innovative approach that has helped us to get where we are today.

We Got a New CEO
In September, ProfileTree proudly welcomed Ciara Nelson as its new CEO.
Ciara began her journey with ProfileTree in 2021 as a Project Manager. Her rapid ascent through the ranks, from operational manager to now CEO, reflects her exceptional leadership and dedication.
Ciaran Connolly, the founder of ProfileTree, who served as CEO for 12 years, has confidently passed the baton to Ciara Nelson, marking her as his first successor. Under Ciara’s visionary leadership, she is committed to establishing ProfileTree as a top employer, focusing on continuous investment in staff development and crafting attractive employment benefits.

What happened in October 2023.
ProfileTree, Ulster University and Innovate UK Conclude 2-Year KTP Digital Transformation Project
ProfileTree, in collaboration with Ulster University and funded by Innovate UK, successfully completed a 2-year Digital Transformation Project as part of the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). This project brought together ProfileTree, Ulster University, and Lochlainn Mallon, an MSc Business Development and Innovation student, to guide ProfileTree through a significant digital transformation.
As a result of this collaboration, ProfileTree achieved a 50% reduction in scheduling tasks, demonstrating the tangible benefits of connecting academic knowledge with business applications.
Ciara Nelson, CEO of ProfileTree, emphasised the impactful knowledge transfer from this partnership, noting the growth and efficiency opportunities for ProfileTree and new data insights for Ulster University in the realm of digital transformation.
Wrapping Up Our Successful Apprenticeship
We’re delighted to share the successful completion of a four-week placement with three exceptionally talented Austrian I.T. apprentices: Johanna, Elias, and Kai.
This immersive experience allowed these apprentices to apply their skills in AutoCAD, Java, and C# to produce informative articles and engaging videos, contributing significantly to our content.
ProfileTree is committed to embracing global talent and providing young professionals with opportunities to gain industry insights and expertise. The apprenticeship with Johanna, Kai, and Elias was a testament to this commitment, and we are immensely grateful for their hard work and contributions.
Internal Brand Video Gets Over 400k Views in Just One Month
ConnollyCove is one of our internal brands, a dedicated Travel and Tourism website that produces high-quality travel content from around the world. Recently this channel celebrated an incredible milestone – accumulating over 400k views on a single video within just one month from its initial upload on September 6th 2023.
The video takes viewers on ‘The Ultimate Travel Guide for One Day in Luxor Egypt’, squeezing in all the must-see attractions and providing a historical glimpse into a time gone by. We’re really proud of our in-house videography team for this one.
